We are urgently looking for a Regional Vice President | Houston, TX
Position Objective
Organize and direct the region's operational activities with responsibility for budgets, P&L, sales, repair & maintenance, quality, field services, and customer support. Assure that products are delivered to customers on time and within specifications while meeting quality, safety, and budgetary requirements. Work closely with SVP WW Sales, Field Operations & Marketing as well as other company leadership to develop and accomplish strategic goals and objectives for the company.
Essential Functions:
•Plan and execute the region's sales plan and P&L
•Plan for and manage the region’s operations, assuring that staffing is appropriate and that individual employees are trained, developed, and operate in a safe and efficient manner.
•Ensure that manufacturing and R&M activities are completed in a timely manner, within budget, and at a customer-agreed-upon quality level.
•Develop regional budgets, including capital equipment, and monitor expenditures to stay within financial capabilities.
•Pursue new business by making periodic calls to existing clients and being alert to possible new customers to achieve continued revenue growth.
•Develop new customers for products and services.
•Make customer presentations and convince companies to be early adopters of new technology or services.
•Arrange for field testing as required.
•Ensure tooling, inventory, technical support, training, service, and other infrastructure is in place to support the customer when the new products are released.
•Develop marketing and sales strategies and business plans for the new products. This includes pricing strategies for new products, services, and software to maximize Company profitability.
•Develop recommendations for improvements to new products that will enhance service, improve life or reliability, and/or reduce cost.
•Ensure that Technology’s quality, safety, and design standards are adhered to.
Job Specifications
Bachelor of Science or Arts or equivalent industry experience. Fifteen years or more of practical oil field experience, preferably with MWD, LWD, Rotary Steerable Systems or Directional Drilling.
Significant management experience in Sales, Field Operations, including budgetary responsibility.
Other skills required:
•Ability to organize and deliver presentations.
•Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships at all levels.
•Demonstrated capability of executing a business plan to achieve desired revenue and profitability goals.
