As a Regional Training Manager you will provide instruction to Craft personnel on all aspects of powerline construction and maintenance with an emphasis on Linetec’s safety and quality requirements. You will report to the Senior Training Manager.
May reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma or Conway, Arkansas
What You'll Do

• Provide one-on one interaction and instruction utilizing skill and knowledge of adult learning theories and styles to maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of instruction
• Promote positive customer relationships to endorse and build the program
• Perform other related responsibilities as requested by leadership
• Maintain regional training sites and training trailers
• Design and implement new training programs, and continuously review & modify existing programs as necessary
• Ensure all participants of training and fellow instructors follow all Linetec’s policies and procedures
• Provide classroom and hands on training in all aspects of powerline construction and maintenance to Linetec’s field personnel

What You'll Have

• Ability to climb poles and demonstrate techniques to learners
• Journeyman lineman certification or related experience
• Ability to travel more than 50% of the time
• 5+ years electrical utility operations, construction, and maintenance experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of the electrical operations related to all areas of electrical systems

Work Environment

• Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
• Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination
• Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
• All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English

Legal Stuff

• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
• Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required
• Meet OSHA requirements for climbing and aerial bucket work
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
