What You'll Be Doing

The Violence Prevention and Management Training Officer is responsible for delivery and management of the WSLHD aggression training program across the district. This is aligned to Work Health and Safety Legislation, Enterprise Risk Management systems and the NSW Health Violence Prevention Management Training Framework.

Selection Criteria

• Cert IV in WHS and/or Diploma in Government Investigations
• Effective time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise, meet conflicting deadlines and multiple priorities in a large, complex organisation
• Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, experience in delivering training to multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Work Health and Safety legislation and related Aggression Minimisation Policies.
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining successful working relationships with management, all levels of staff and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing databases, accurate record keeping and development of related reports.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, delivering and evaluating of education and learning programs for a range of delivery modes (i.e. face-to-face, online and self- paced).
