Job Description
DIRECTV LLC is seeking a Lead Manager eCommerce in El Segundo, CA (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home).


Engage in analytics and behavior of online customers, quantifying any problems and communicate complex information effectively and clearly. Responsible for data gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of data to identify casual relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions on customer behavior, analysis may include customer behavior, segmentation, sales and customer experience. Build predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size and verifies the model in the real world. Quantify significance of data variances, applies an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly-developing within the Big-Data space. Develop reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings. Collaborate with business partners in product management to develop metrics, KPIs and reports for new web site features and product launches. Conference with marketing and sales teams along with individual product owners to determine what are the various Key Performance Indicators and metrics that need to be captured and tracked for analysis and reporting. Perform data analysis and provide useful information on new changes to the website or when any new products and promos are launched to the respective business owners. Assist in running multiple campaigns simultaneously and provide feedback based on the web traffic and user interactions on the website. Engage IT partners with reporting requirements and ensure tagging specifications are in alignment with reporting ends within Adobe & Google Analytics. On completion of the process of collecting the reporting and analysis requirements from the business teams, implementing the tags to ensure the data is flowing into Adobe and Google Analytics. Assist the implementation team using tagging tool such as Dynamic Tag Management (DTM) in verifying the implemented Java Script code on various web pages to make sure that the metrics are captured and passed onto the Adobe databases for data modeling and data visualization purposes. Support Adobe & Google (web) analytics tag testing efforts with UAT by identifying and raising tagging defects. Use various tag testing tools such as Switcheroo, ObservePoint TagDebugger, dataSlayer and other in-house tools to ensure all the required KPIs and metrics flow into the databases. Inspect, transform, and model data to find useful information regarding the products using tools such as Adobe Analytics, SAP Business Intelligence and Excel Report Builder. Work with predictive analysts to provide forecasting data and statistical modeling. Provide historical and current views of various business operations to respective owners to set their future goals. Provide reports that vary based on data visualization using Adobe Analytics, and advanced excel. As a Subject Matter Expert on marketing channels, provide complex reports on user engagement and sales via various channels. Gather the data from the databases in the back end and use data manipulation processes to make the reports easier to understand for the end users. Utilize Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Quantum Metric. Utilize Cloud Debugger, Charles ObservePoint Audit, Omnibug, Fiddler, and Firebug. Perform Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI and JIRA. Develop visualization reports, charts, and tables in support of findings. Negotiate with and advise business partners with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction and outcomes. Utilize Switcheroo, ObservePoint TagDebugger, and dataSlayer.


REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Information Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Quantum Metric; utilizing Cloud Debugger, Charles, ObservePoint Audit, Omnibug, Fiddler, and Firebug; performing Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI, and JIRA; developing visualization reports, charts, and tables in support of findings; negotiating with and advising business partners with regards to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction and outcomes; and utilizing Switcheroo, ObservePoint TagDebugger, and dataSlayer.
