Scope of Work:

Are you looking for that startup environment where you have the opportunity to be a key player within our newest venture? We are excited to be hiring for this critical role, E-Commerce Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to imprint your DNA on our newest division. We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about customer experience, sales and product development! This is a highly visible role based full-time in our Beverly Hills Headquarters with a collaborative and innovative team.


Operations & Customer Service:

  • Identify relevant suppliers (including managing relationships with current and sourcing new) for sourcing new products to develop and launch.
  • Communicate with suppliers during quoting, purchasing, and inventory transit.
  • Fully oversee supply management and inventory reordering.
  • Manage shipping logistics issues ranging from carrier pickups, lost packages, and damaged shipments to incorrect invoices.
  • Handle all customer communications (social, web, ecomm, and digital).
  • Lead other departments to understand the growth, opportunities, and overall success of the ecomm and web programs.
  • Regularly track and report on statistics and inventory (including selling through, inventory, Google Ad ROI, etc).
  • Pack and process products for shipping.
  • Prepare and print shipping labels + manage the ecomm sales process from start to finish.


Merchandising:

  • Manage 3rd party merchandising tools such as Product Reviews & Loyalty programs.
  • Create and manage the execution of the site merchandising calendar/quarterly framework.
  • Develop and execute a plan to optimize site speed, design, check-out processes, & upsell/cross-sells.
  • Become versed in content management systems and its merchandising ability and potential; develop the ability to mine for new merchandising opportunities using content management functionality.
  • Assess the competitive landscape to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the digital experience as appropriate/relevant.
  • Own product metadata, such as product tags, attribution, filters, thumbnails, product descriptions, etc.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the visual merchandising of the D2C site (including homepage, landing pages, category pages, product listing/description pages, collections, tags, carousels, discount codes, and any new product discovery features).


Your key performance objectives:

  • Be highly adaptable in day-to-day business operation functions while upholding policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales and overall P&L impact for the Company business in alignment with business objectives. Grow the program to exceed projected targets and create new trends in terms of growth financially.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs that support data-driven decision-making around site layout, content placement, site structure, and website content optimization to deliver on business objectives.
  • Ensure enhanced customer experience throughout every touchpoint, from browsing the website to receiving their order(s).


You have proven performance in:

  • Managing e-commerce and continually optimizing the site(s) and identifying ways to improve the overall presence and success of web presence.
  • Working at a startup or small business and comfortable with problem-solving and wearing different hats.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong leadership and project management presence.
  • Fluent in Google/Microsoft suite, in particular Excel, Woocommerce, Shopify, and wordpress


Nice to have but not required:

  • While not required, experience in the beauty or fashion industry with an e-commerce brand is also highly regarded.
  • Experience with Woocommerce, Square, Shipstation and Amazon Seller Central highly regarded.
  • 1-2 years of e-commerce experience preferred.


Physical requirements:

  • Being on-site for all shifts, Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday with some Weekend involvement for occasional team building events or retreats
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
  • Extended periods of computer and phone usage
