Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced eCommerce Manager to oversee the LA Clippers' DTC website. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building eCommerce retail from the ground up.
As the eCommerce Manager, you'll handle all aspects of running our retail website, including eCommerce strategies, customer experiences, online fulfillment operations, digital retail initiatives, and some customer support. Your focus will be on driving online sales growth, meeting revenue goals, and identifying areas of opportunity. Excellent management and peer relationship skills are crucial for collaborating with cross-functional partners. What You Will Do
- Continuously evaluate warehouse operations to drive improved performance, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to capitalize on online marketing opportunities while maintaining a consistent brand approach.
- Build the eCommerce roadmap and strengthen cross-functional management capabilities.
- Oversee customer service inquiries as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve traffic, engagement, conversion, and profit margins.
- Manage and adhere to the eCommerce operating budget, measuring and reporting on effectiveness.
- Lead eCommerce development projects for website changes.
- Lead the Clippers' website end-to-end strategy to daily execution, focusing on increasing eCommerce sales and enhancing return on investment.
- Make shop.clippers.com the go-to platform for Clippers fans with an seamless, intuitive and engaging experience.
- Work with external resources and vendors to achieve business goals.
- Monitor and drive key performance metrics for excellent customer experience and fulfillment.
Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
- Self-starter with a high sense of urgency and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Extensive knowledge of Shopify eCommerce platform and SEO/SEM.
- 5-7 years of experience in eCommerce and online marketing.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
- Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends, and holidays.
- Track record of delivering results and making impactful decisions.
- Expertise in current eCommerce industry best practices.
- Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and executional skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution.
Compensation
- The role is classified as exempt.
- $105,000 - $115,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
