Job Summary:
We are an AI SaaS company seeking a talented and experienced super-geek Product Project Manager to join our team. The Product Project Manager will be responsible for managing product development projects from ideation to launch, with a focus on the government sector. Our two main products at present are security (facial recognition, contact tracing, intruder alert, etc.) and fire detection (indoor and wildfire). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects in the AI industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that project management tools and methodologies are used effectively to manage projects.
- Lead the product development process, including conducting market research, defining product requirements, and creating product roadmaps.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets and manage project resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, data science, design, and marketing, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Work with the engineering team to ensure that products are built to specification, are scalable, and meet customer needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in the AI industry.
- Strong project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience with government cybersecurity practices (e.g., in edge environment solutions).
- Experience with Border Patrol or similar/related entities/agencies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with federal government requirements for business partners.
- Strong technical knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on AI or machine learning products.
