Job Description
Job Summary (General Responsibilities):
Member of the eCommerce sales team charged with managing and growing online sales channels.
The eCommerce Manager will work closely with the eCommerce National Account Manager and other cross functional teams to exceed revenue and profit goals within the channel. The successful candidate will have a firm grasp and understanding of eCommerce centric site merchandising activities and optimization tactics. Additionally, candidate must have a working knowledge of Amazon.com and Vendor Central.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Develop integrated demand generation campaigns to drive sales and increase awareness for Linksys products
  • Interface with internal sales, marketing, demand planning, finance, IT and warehouse staff to manage day-to-day business.
  • Develop and manage online financial, operating and reporting analytics to track and predict performance.
  • Constant site maintenance, management and change tactics to impact conversion rates.
  • Take full responsibility for individual actions.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
  • Develop and manage promotional calendar by account.
  • Work closely with the Inventory Planning Team to provide an ongoing forecast for inventory demand.
  • Partner with Interactive Marketing team to drive search engine optimization, search engine marketing, online advertising, digital media, email marketing, website(s) and interactive campaigns to drive consumer and merchant acquisition, retention and loyalty.
  • Account management of eCommerce partners.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations including product content, inventory availability, pricing and promotional activities in order to optimize conversion and revenue.
  • Learn and remain proficient on the Belkin product lines.
  • Supply Chain Management and understanding of how to read and manage retail vendor scorecards.
  • Full online ownership of how our product is presented, marketed and perceived.
  • Constant focus on reviews and relevancy on eCommerce Channel sites.
  • Create and execute content as needed, often without any external agency support or staff, for website and partner websites; Create and manage search/keywords, social media marketing, banner ads, merchant product mock-ups, email campaigns, videos, collateral, branding, and campaign development.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing initiatives drive top line revenue, optimize return-on-investment and achieve other key performance indicators.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Significant business-to-consumer experience focused in eCommerce, online marketing, campaign development and management, customer acquisition and retention.
  • Interested in “Discoverability” eCommerce tactics.
  • 2+ years working with Amazon.com preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with a consumer goods supplier selling through eCommerce preferred
  • Must be a team player who prioritizes the team and overall business objectives.
  • History of strong external relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Proven successful track record in managing website keyword optimization and marketing, affiliate partnerships, merchandising, email marketing, digital media and online marketing campaigns to elicit conversion.
  • Experience using website content management systems, analytics solutions, and customer resource management systems (Salesforce.com, in particular).
  • Computer savvy, proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills (able to create and deliver presentations to senior management).
  • Proactive, well organized self-starter with strong project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Internet technology and Internet marketing principles.
  • Proven track record in consultative interactive and web account support and marketing.
  • 5+ years of successful business development, account management or interactive marketing. experience in a channel sales-based organization with extensive retail and eCommerce exposure

Range for this position:
$65,000 - $80,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered.
