Job Description

Bamboo Rose provides an industry leading Multi-Enterprise Product & Supply Chain platform that connects the retail community to discover, develop, and deliver products @ digital speed.


Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Payroll Administrator that will support the payroll function to ensure smooth operation of payroll matters. Reporting directly to the CFO, the candidate will be responsible for US payroll and involved in a wide range of payroll-related duties. This role could grow to oversee payroll vendors responsible for other regions. In addition, this person will be responsible for ad hoc Office Management and some HR duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Process wage garnishment and reconcile payments
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of bi-monthly payrolls in a high growth, fast paced organization
  • Maintain close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and eliminate any subsequent adjustments to payroll
  • Provide assistance to the Human Resources and Finance teams on payroll related items, like ACA reporting.
  • Support and review payments, processes and functions as needed
  • Investigate and drive resolution to payroll inquiries
  • Process off-cycle manual checks, termination/severance and miscellaneous payments approved by management
  • Document workflow and work procedures
  • Work with the Finance team to implement process improvements and reengineer current systems to build efficient and scalable payroll processes
  • Produce reports for internal / external audits
  • Reconcile errors and maintain payroll records
  • Employee point of contact for issues related to payroll
  • Maintain, operate and update payroll systems/processes daily
  • Ensure payroll process is compliant with Federal, State and Local regulations
  • Benefits administration at hire to exit.


Experience:

  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with multistate US payroll preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with ADP & OpenAir (Time & Expense) preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
  • AA/AS degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Excellent skills using MS Excel
