Payment Representative - National Remote

The majority of the tasks will be review of payments, education of team members, answering payment questions daily from our offshore team. It will be critical that any candidate understands this.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Posting payments, rejections and LOA's to accounts and making corrections to misapplied payments
• Receive payments and prepare payments for deposit and forward to appropriate financial institution
• Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient utilizing Microsoft Excel
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Previous experience in a posting position

Preferred Qualification:

• Previous experience with Imagine software

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
