As an Associate Enrollment - Eligibility Representative, you will review reports to check backlog, review emails, make a priority list for the day, work on tasks based on urgency, a lot of report and email-based work, attend team meetings, work in an on-base system to review reports, determine what changes and corrections need to be made, and update members’ policies as needed.
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm including the flexibility to work occasional over time during peak season, Dec - Jan. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
We offer 4 weeks training classes with a trainer, once completed 1:1 mentoring with someone on the team for 30 days. Once this is completed they will reevaluate if they need additional 30 days

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare, process and maintain new member or group enrollments
• Respond to member eligibility or group questions and verify enrollment status
• Reconcile eligibility discrepancies, analyze transactional data and submit retroactive eligibility changes
• Research errors by comparing enrollment error reports against system information

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work from 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm including the flexibility to work occasional over time during peak season, Dec - Jan
• High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
• Prior eligibility / enrollment experience

Telecommuting Requirements

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills

• Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
