D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Corporate Trainer I. The right candidate will instruct classroom, webinar and onsite trianing as applicable. Assit with the development and maintenance of curriculum material and training job aids. Provide field support via a centralized inbox. Serve on project committees and collaborate with other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ability to travel overnight
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Exhibit a working knowledge of various mortgage systems and training technology
  • Maintain information available in the Training SharePoint and "G" drive
  • Software and Technical System Training- onsite & webinar
  • New Hire Orientation- onsite & webinar
  • Develop and maintain the curriculum, agenda, communication, materials and participation for multi-day onsite training programs, webinars, on-demand videos and regulatory training, i.e.:
    • New Hire Orientation- onsite & webinar
    • DHIM Core-onsite
    • Mortgage Mastery & Mortgage 101- onsite
    • Process Change Training- onsite & webinar
    • Software and Technical System Training- onsite & webinar
    • Regulatory Lessons- via RegU
    • On-Demand Video Training- recording onsite
  • Serve as a member of project committees
  • DHIM Core-onsite
  • Regulatory Lessons- via RegU
  • Mortgage Mastery & Mortgage 101- onsite
  • Proofreaf and edit informational and instructional documents for corporate communication
  • Collaborate with other training and departmental teammates
  • Complete research and testing tasks as assigned by project leads
  • On-Demand Video Training- recording onsite
  • Process Change Training- onsite & webinar
  • Assist with curriculum development and maintenance
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Corporate Training Team Lead
  • Provide coverage for the Mortgage Training Inbox and phone support in collaboration with the Financial Services Support Team
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications
  • Two to three years of related mortgage and/or training experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred
