Job Description
ovX works with The Veteran Canteen Service, the retail arm of the Administration of Veteran Affairs to build, manage and grow their ecommerce channel, ShopVCS.com. The Partner Success Manager, VCS will be the owner of all marketing efforts that support this important partner. This role is ultimately the owner of the revenue and margin plan for the ShopVCS.com channel and leveraging all available tactics to drive engagement and achieve the plan.


The Partner Success Manager, VCS must be guided by data and work to optimize all communications and processes based on the results. The goal is to make our email and homepage channels effective order drivers for the sellers on ShopVCS.com by understanding which placements and vehicles convert for specific segments and categories.


Detailed Description And Sample Tasks


  • Narvar shipment emails and landing page
  • Promotional email
  • Understand and leverage the product recommendation engine to increase personalization efficiently across all member communications.
  • Maintain a schedule to ensure we are communicating with members at appropriate times and at the right volume.
  • ShopVCS.com Homepage
  • QA and test all communications.
  • Work to understand the VCS team’s definition of success, so that efforts can be aligned to achieve the GovX plan and drive success for VCS.
  • SMS – Future Channel
  • Ensure that all communication is scheduled and delivers on time.
  • Leverage reporting to make data driven decisions to drive the business to achieve revenue and margin goals.
  • Manage the creation and development process.
  • Partner with VCS marketing team to develop strategies to access their databases and drive new members to ShopVCS.com.
  • Develop and drive a long-term email marketing strategy to consistently improve performance, increase traffic from the email traffic and drive revenue on the ShopVCS.com website.
  • Own all communication with the VCS team including but not limited to: monthly reporting, marketing performance, merchandising performance and member growth.
  • Trigger email and email journeys
  • Report back on the performance of all communication channels.
  • Report back to the GovX management team on VCS performance quarterly.
  • Work cross-functionally with our Graphic Designers and Creative Director to streamline emails scaling the program while leveraging best practices and proven email tactics.
  • Own and manage all member communications on ShopVCS.com:

No travel is expected for this position.


Work Location


This is a hybrid position that combines working onsite at the GovX corporate office in San Diego, CA and working remotely from home. Due to training and team collaboration requirements of this position, the candidate must live and work in San Diego, CA. No relocation allowance or visa sponsorship will be provided.

Requirements


  • Proficient in project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize based on materiality to drive growth.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or a similar web analytics platform.
  • Passionate and mission driven.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Solution and results oriented.
  • 2 years’ experience in account management.
  • 4 years’ experience in marketing.
  • Exceptional technical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay Range


$28.85 - $28.85 per hour, with benefits listed above.
