This position will be a key contributor in orienting newly hired employees to Boston University. The Onboarding Specialist will provide a seamless new hire experience by using timely communication of the progress and next steps in the hiring and onboarding process. They will also present New Employee Orientation and act as a resource to new hires. They will offer a streamlined onboarding process for newly hired employees in partnership with HR Operation, Organizational Development & Learning, Benefits, Improving with You performance management team and Employee Relations (ER) Partners. The Onboarding Specialist will offer support and guidance to hiring managers and assigned business and academic units. They will collaborate with the Recruitment and Staffing teams to support the University's overall talent recruitment and retention strategy.

Required Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 1-3 years of professional level experience in HR operations, preferably in a higher education setting.
