PATH is searching for a highly qualified Officer, Planning and Management that will sit within the Office of President (OFP) working closely with our executive team. This Officer role is key in initiating and overseeing strategic plans, researching, and analyzing data to drive leadership decision making, and ensuring projects and change management strategies across multiple divisions are implemented smoothly. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. This role can be hybrid or remote. In addition, other global PATH office locations will be considered.


Responsibilities:


  • Promote efficiency and productivity of the OFP by providing leadership and support in process development and improvement, implementation and improvement of tools, analysis, reporting, and change management
  • Drive the Annual Planning calendar for the President and CEO and the intake/review of both ongoing and new statements of work or strategic initiatives, notes, and execution on action items
  • Related to above, serve as a key point of contact for managing the CEO’s schedule, including overall management responsibility for the CEO’s calendar, prioritizing meeting recommendations, follow-up, and dissemination of pre- and post-meeting information
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Coordinating with external partners executive offices on engagements
  • Prepare and review communications materials including internal/external correspondence, presentations, reports, talking points, briefings and other materials to ensure high quality and accuracy of information, in addition to proving input based on institutional knowledge
  • Support the CEO in managing and fulfilling his role as a PATH representative to international and local organizations
  • Depending on project needs, this may require the ability to travel internationally up to 10%
  • Craft and coordinate C-level executive presentations and communications with support from team, manage the maintenance and creation of materials for dissemination, including distillation of key lessons and insights, and toolkits that can be adapted for various audiences
  • Ensure smooth implementation of projects and change management. This means providing thought leadership, gathering feedback and partnership on calendar planning, analytics and more to drive team-wide adoption
  • Support the CEO in meeting facilitation, as needed
  • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives
  • Lead the OFP rhythm of business processes, planning, daily business operations, ensure follow through on the part of key players, provide research function and analyzing data to drive leadership decision making
  • Working in partnership with the Diversity Director, ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) values, norms, and ways of working are infused into OFP strategies and business processes


Required skills and experience:


  • Excellent communications skills, including editing, writing, and verbal presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in management skills with intellectual curiosity and the ability to vision as well as execute
  • Demonstrated experience in project management to include initiating, planning, executing, controlling and monitoring over projects
  • Proven track record of excellent people, stakeholder, and agency management, with experience working with varying seniority levels to set clear direction
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, ideally in a business-related field, such as Business Administration, Finance or Economics; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Highly motivated, process driven, and results oriented with the ability to prioritize and assume responsibility in a multi-tasking environment
  • Change advocacy- demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and willingness to challenge the standard thinking with new ideas, new approaches and solutions
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a global organization in a role that has an international outlook, cross cultural understanding and experience with working with people from different countries and regions
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preference for candidates that are familiar with the non-profit, health sector, bio tech or pharma industry
  • Demonstrated ability to be collaborative and influential with the ability to call to action others and to think creatively about solutions
  • The ability to thrive in environments with ambiguity and rapid change
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify organizational needs, lead all aspects of office planning with sound business recommendations
  • Advanced ability to solve complex problems creatively and with strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of increasing responsibility in competitive environments and experience organizing and driving complex projects
  • Highly resourceful, sharp, organized, discrete and self-driven
  • Proven experience using analytical and business intelligence to help influence decisions
  • Working knowledge of development and implementation of work plans, e.g., design of performance management system of goals, targets, and monitoring process

We offer our employees a competitive salary and generous benefits. For candidates based in the U.S., the annual salary range for this position is $129,216 - $200,000. The final salary is based on a variety of objective factors. The salary will be benchmarked locally for candidates based outside of the US.
