JOB TITLE: Director, Project Management Office
DEPARTMENT: Business Operations
REPORTS TO: Chief of Staff
TYPE: Full Time, Exempt
LOCATION: Remote
Compensation: ($130,000-$145,000)
ROLE SUMMARY:
The PMO Director works directly with the leadership team to provides support to ensure internal and external project control and success and alignment with strategic direction of Healthmine. The PMO Director oversees various aspects of managing the day-to-day operations of the includes creating project plans, assigning resources, tracking progress, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the process on PMO including as lessons learned, project risks, and other project experiences. This This role is key in ensuring company goals and initiatives are met.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Working with external stakeholders such as clients or other departments within the organization to ensure that projects meet their requirements.
- Identifying potential risks involved in a project and developing plans to mitigate risk where possible.
- Ensuring that all projects are staffed with the right personnel for the job with the necessary skills, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
- Developing project management methodology, architecture, and tools that can be used across multiple projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Communicating with clients and/or stakeholders to gather input about their needs and provide status updates on projects.
- Providing guidance and support to throughout the duration of a project.
- Ensuring that projects are managed according to the approved project plan.
- Directing and managing the day-to-day operations of the PMO, including planning, organizing, and directing projects.
- Development of training programs for employees on project management.
- Leading a team of project managers and/or other personnel involved in projects.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or other relevant field.
- Project Management Professional or similar certification required.
- 10+ years of Project Management experience with cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of healthcare, health plans, and IT operations.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of all markets Healthmine currently operates in.
