Job Description

Mantell Associates are partnered with a CDMO in their search for a VP of Quality who will be a key member of the senior leadership team and hold responsibility for building, leading and executing a quality strategy.


VP of Quality - Responsibilities:

  • Product and facility approval
  • Quality process design and development
  • Ensure that internal processes and metrics are aligned to create a high level of process consistency, product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Substantially strengthen quality systems, determining the appropriate infrastructure and resources required to achieve business objectives
  • Sustainable manufacturing
  • Supply through in-house capabilities and well as third-party development and external manufacturing partners
  • Contract partner relationships
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for quality systems as well as the implementation of a quality framework to support the business globally


VP of Quality - Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage up and down
  • Experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Direct experience interacting with FDA and other regulatory authorities
  • Leadership experience with direct reports and indirect reports
  • Strong industry experience within pharma, biopharma and/or biotech companies
