Director Of Project Management Office

• Communicate expected results and deliverables in detail to team members—both PMO and interdepartmental—to ensure alignment and clear understanding throughout the organization
• Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve the project management best practices and ensure those best practices align with the true needs of the organization from executive leadership to front-line users
• Build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and key PMO stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor by providing accurate, nuanced evaluations of the status and risks of current initiatives undertaken in the PMO
• Effectively evaluate current workload of PMO team members to ensure sufficient capacity to complete current initiatives while ensuring they are working toward results in the most impactful areas
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to PMO staff and project managers
• Create cross-functional teams of experts from throughout the company to work together as a team to deliver results on PMO initiatives
• Work with executive leadership to prioritize PMO initiatives and drive meaningful results from those initiatives
• Demonstrate sufficient business acumen to understand the nuance of executive strategic goals, and structure initiatives to align with and support those goals
• Assist in adoption of new processes and compliance with existing ones through initial and continuing training of DCS employees

• You have 5+ years of management experience.
• You are an outstanding communicator, both orally and in writing.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• You have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate the PMO
• You demonstrate the ability to develop and implement programs.
• You have at least a high-level understanding of software architecture and integration.
• You are comfortable challenging the status quo in technical and non-technical areas, and you do it in a way to promote collaboration among multiple departments to drive the “best for DCS” solution.
