Job Description

Vice President of Food Safety, Quality Assurance, & Regulatory Needed for a Food Production Company

A rapidly growing food company is seeking an experienced VP to lead the United States Quality Assurance team.

This Vice President will oversee the quality and food safety of manufacturing at all facilities. They will report directly to the SVP of Operations leveraging a strong food manufacturing background to ensure all processes meet regulatory standards.


The ideal candidate will have the following skillset

  • 15+ Years’ experience Managing in food manufacturing
  • Must have experience with dairy products/ aseptic processes
  • PCQI training certificate
  • Knowledge of current GFSI
  • Knowledge of food processing and their effect on food safety
  • Multi-Site Management experience
  • FDA and USDA regulation knowledge
  • HACCP Certificate, SQF Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology or similar field of science
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge


The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Director will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure HACCP, Quality Systems, GLPs
  • Provide leadership to Quality Managers and Supervisors
  • Create and oversee food safety and quality policies
  • Oversee staffing and development
  • Ensure that all products are in line with quality standards
  • Improve food safety and quality systems
  • Ensure GFSI, SQF, & compliance at all plant locations
  • Ensure audits and customer needs are meeting regulatory standards at all plants
