O'Neal Steel is currently seeking an Office Administrator for our Birmingham, AL Corporate Office.
The Corporate Office Administrator is a key administrative support role for the Corporate Office and Leadership Team.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Ensures that all refreshment and office supply needs are met for the building
- Managing mail distribution and other communications
- Record management and filing, electronic or physical
- Setting and managing the daily schedules and calendars
- Answering phones calls and taking messages
- The above is not an all-inclusive list and the nature of this role will require responding to a wide variety of requests
- Point of contact for a variety of requests, questions, issues, etc. for O’Neal Steel team members in the Corporate Office
- Preparing and/or editing documents, such as expense reports, memos and other documents
- First point of contact for office visitors entering the building, welcome visitors, escort to meetings if necessary, etc.
- Creating spreadsheets and preparing presentations
- Managing scheduling and appointments
- Various tasks as requested by members of the Leadership Team; this role will desk in that area, duties may include:

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Excellent time management skills, ability to effectively organize and prioritize work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to speak with all levels of team members, guests and vendors
- Adaptability and a servant’s mindset, an orientation that no task is beneath you
- A self-starting attitude, takes ownership of responsibility areas, does not require close supervision
- Ability to take a task all the way through the finish line, a deep desire to follow-through
- Upon offer of employment, candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug test (excludes THC).
