Mortgage Processor - Remote | Wfh

We're seeking a talented Loan Processor to join our Florida Team at a growing mortgage company. Our Loan Processors play a crucial role in helping our Loan Officers with the loan process, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
As an experienced Loan Processor, you'll have a thorough understanding of mortgages and a keen sense of urgency. You'll work closely with our team to manage all aspects of the "contract to close" phase of the process, ensuring that our clients receive a world-class experience.

You should have a proven track record of handling questions and last-minute changes under pressure, ensuring that clients secure their mortgage in a timely manner.
At our company, we believe that a qualified Mortgage Processor must have 2+ years of continuous mortgage processing and/or underwriting experience, 5+ years preferred. Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of loans and maintain a timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process while working independently and remotely from home.
Communicate with Underwriters to clarify conditions and help administer all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements.
Order and manage documentation including Verification of Employment, Evidence of Insurance, Payoffs, Tax Transcripts, Credit Supplements, Condo Questionnaires, Subordination Requests, and Title Work as needed for each file.
Maintain loan origination system and database with proper loan information.
Follow up on documents ordered in a timely manner.
Handle all borrower communication from the point of contract to closing of the loan.
Handle all Loan Officer and Underwriter communication with updates.
Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines are met.
Be a sponge for information/knowledge, always striving to be the best possible at your position.
Be a leader, helping us improve our processes and procedures to always deliver a world-class experience to our clients and referral partners.
Qualifications
Current working knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage procedures, processes, and documentation.
Exceptional attention to detail, organized, and excellent time management skills.
Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience for the remote position, 5+ preferred.
Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task without being micro-managed to meet multiple deadlines and a keen sense of urgency.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Work well in a team environment while working remotely from home.
Florida NMLS Number Required.
Compensation
$36,000-$50,000 per year, based on experience.
