Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Claims Data Entry Professional to join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare cost containment company in Plano, TX. Our company specializes in medical bill review and negotiation services, aiding clients in efficiently managing their healthcare costs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume data entry, maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency (Average: 10,000+ Keystrokes Per Hour).
Manage electronic files by performing tasks such as printing, copying, transferring, and deleting.
Utilize computer databases to access and input information accurately.
Input data for various purposes, including envelopes, labels, form letters, and correspondence.
Format and generate documents with meticulous attention to detail.
Handle numerical calculations, error detection, and correction.
Utilize Microsoft Word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and other software tools.
Operate basic office equipment, such as photocopy machines, facsimile machines, and binding machines.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2 years' prior experience in a healthcare/medical setting with extensive data entry responsibilities (hospital, health plan, clinic, or similar).
Typing Skills: Proficiency in typing at a rate of 40 Words Per Minute (WPM) or 10,000 Keystrokes Per Hour (KSPH).
Software Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel for document creation and data management.
Comfort Zone: Adeptness in working within a role that centers around data entry and computer-based tasks.
