- The Director of Marketing, Brand Activation will play a key role in developing the Global go-to-marketstrategy and programming. This individual will be responsible for the creation, execution, performance tracking and optimization of major campaigns and communications. Additionally, this role will beresponsible for driving a commercially focused plan to develop key customers and accounts. Thisposition is required to have a strong understanding of and ability to assess business performance, integrated marketing planning, the skincare and beauty landscape, and customer needs.
- Reports to the SVP, Marketing.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with sales, Influencer/Social, creative, digital and external agencies to deliver 6-12month commercial plan in support of company growth priorities.
- Oversee brand budget and report by to finance as needed.
- Develop customer market plans in collaboration with sales teams, innovation, PR, education, creative and senior leadership. Oversee execution of all trade marketing programs to deliver customer growth plans.
- Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to Sales, Digital, Creative, Influencer/Social, PR, Planning, Operations, Education, R&D, Finance, Legal, Regulatory.
- Partner with finance, sales, and agencies to provide drivers of POS performance, campaign
- Oversee content briefing, development of core brand assets, and globalization of coreassets.
- Performance impact and optimizations, and growth insights. Key contributor to forecast and S&OP process.
- Identify, secure and bring to life partnership opportunities that will drive brand awareness + equity to support brand’s short and long-term goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to help them achieve brand goals.
- Accountable for go-to-market brand activations and communications for core priorities and newproduct launches.
- Lead the communication strategy and its creative execution and define communication guidelines across channels.
- Partner closely with PD and product marketing lead on innovation, core development, and claims initiatives, and collaborate to develop customer sell-in and commercialization plans.
- Track and analyze plan effectiveness to determine ROI and prioritize resources. Conduct various analysis i.e. sell through, profitability, etc. to assess the performance of each brand activity and make any necessary recommendations for follow up action plan.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis on an ongoing basis and as required for special requests in collaboration with Unilever prestige team.
Skills, Experience and Education Required:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build successful relationships with internal and external teams. Lead with passion.
- Ability to execute under accelerated time frames and quickly adapts to changes in priorities.
- Minimum 8-10 years brand marketing experience with strong skincare background.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills. Experience managing P&L.
- Exceptional team-building skills with demonstrated success developing, managing and leading highly effective teams in agile environments.
- Experience with paid media campaigns and strong digital marketing acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field of study.
- Proven success with customer centered brand activations and experience presenting to and partnering with retailers.
- Self-motivated and flexible; ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
- Strategic thinker who also maintains strong attention to detail and delivers with excellence.

The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000to $175,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
