Our client, a dynamic streetwear brand based in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Marketing & Partnerships Director to join their innovative team. As a leader in their industry, our client offers an exciting opportunity to shape the company's marketing strategy and build strategic partnerships. As the Marketing & Partnerships Director, you will be responsible for driving the company's brand marketing efforts, driving revenue through partnerships, and will be responsible for developing and implementing brand marketing strategies, managing collaborative partnerships with brands, vendors and sponsors, and overseeing the company’s communications and public relations efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing relationships
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and partnerships, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive business growth
- Navigate collaboration opportunities, in an effort to generate revenue, garner brand attention and customer-centricity
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging marketing techniques, and digital advancements, recommending innovative strategies to enhance marketing efforts
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies
- Handle all aspects of the partnership process from origination to execution including but not limited to contract negotiation, production, marketing activations, etc.
- Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and monitor expenses to ensure ROI and budgetary compliance
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and forge new partnerships
- Drive brand awareness and market penetration through targeted marketing initiatives across various channels, including digital, social media, events, and traditional marketing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies with product development, sales, and operations
- Develop and execute the company's overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and integrated marketing campaigns
Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the latest marketing technologies, digital platforms, and social media trends
- Expertise in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Demonstrated experience in cultivating strategic partnerships, negotiating agreements, and managing relationships
- Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing, with a focus on developing and executing successful marketing strategies and managing partnerships
- Creative thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate marketing strategies and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in leveraging data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and measure performance
Location: Los Angeles (close to DTLA), California
Salary: Up to $120K DOE, full benefits, bonus
