The Role:
BigHand is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Marketing Development Representative (MDR) to join our team. The MDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and qualifying inbound leads. The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying and nurturing inbound leads (MQLs) through to opportunities (SALs) for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting yourself tasks to follow up on your prospects for future conversion.
- Ensure all activity is logged in Outreach and CRM and track your progress and conversion rates.
- Focus on nurturing MQLs until they convert using sequencing and sending relevant marketing content.
- Monitor and track leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline, providing regular updates and reports to the sales & marketing teams
- Research your prospects to create personalised messaging and identify their pain points/current challenges understanding the customers' needs
- A proactive attitude to contacting MQLs and following them through to conversion.
- Ensure client and prospect data is up to date in the CRM – continuously improving the health of the organisations data
- Identify growth opportunities within existing customers.
- Exceed quota by generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads adhering to a defined qualification process.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns and messaging.
- Qualify your prospects through cold calls, emailing, LinkedIn and other means using BANT.
- Book discovery meetings with prospective clients identifying the right personas.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated and persistent
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience in targeting Law firms would be highly advantageous
- Excellent speaking and writing skills
- Desired but not essential Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 1-2+ years of experience in sales or marketing in a B2B environment
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with team members in different locations and time zones
- Energetic and hardworking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Reachdesk, Outreach, Vidyard or similar
