To help us grow, we’re looking for an empathetic and resourceful Marketing Coordinator - West who is committed improving education, specifically through literacy and writing. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing functions so your day-to-day work may look different depending on the time of year and seasonality of our business. This marketing role supports our Sales and Success/Implementation teams in the West, while functioning as a part of our company’s Marketing team. We market directly to district and school leaders, and our primary users are teachers. Your overall responsibilities would include:
Events
  • Spearheading the creation of event-related promotional materials and assets.
  • Working to position our customers to share their story; coordinate and submit proposals to speak at relevant conferences
  • Driving attendance to all events and coordinating with stakeholders on pre- and post-event follow-up.
  • Working with the VP of Marketing to ensure all event programs are on time and within budget; assisting in coordination of the above items at national conferences, as needed.
  • Tracking and regularly reporting on ROI from all event marketing efforts.
  • Running point on all regional events (webinars and in-person) and conferences, including establishing goals, coordinating timelines and responsibilities, maintaining vendor relationships, and communicating with stakeholders.
Digital Marketing
  • Tracking and regularly reporting on ROI from all digital marketing efforts.
  • Communicating campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Working with the entire marketing team to increase inbound leads to our site via strategic calls-to-action, landing pages, lead generation content, digital advertising, press/media opportunities, and more.
  • Spearheading the creation, promotion, and follow-up for regional monthly webinars.
  • Supporting the VP of Marketing in developing digital marketing campaigns that help us engage and nurture educators in strategic markets.
  • Managing contacts and lists for regional prospective and existing partners.
Community Engagement
  • Writing, producing, and editing regular content that spotlights the work of our customers (ex: monthly Q&As with teachers, blog posts from or about our partners, etc.)
  • Writing and producing select communications to our customers, including our monthly teacher newsletter and product updates and announcements
  • Working closely with Manager of Community Partnerships to build regionally-focused messaging to engage with and grow ThinkCERCA's community of passionate educators through email and social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) as well as events, where appropriate.
Requirements
  • Great listener who can distill information into actionable insights
  • A commitment to diversity and building an inclusive workplace
  • 2-3 years in a marketing or communications role; ideally in a startup environment
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or comparable CRM and inbound marketing platform
  • Passion for solving challenges within our education system
  • Strong project management skills
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience analyzing and tracking ROI of marketing programs
  • Demonstrated success executing on event marketing, digital marketing, and social media campaigns
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States
  • Passion for working in an agile, iterative fashion; open to continual feedback for growth
