Manager, Sales Training-Surgical Structural Heart

Bring your sales and clinical expertise as well as your passion for training to our Edwards Surgical Structural Heart Training Team. As a Manager, Sales Training you will be part of a team responsible for developing and delivering content and tools to train sales and field clinical professionals on product subject matter expertise, selling capabilities, as well as clinical content areas. You will collaborate across the sales training team, as well as with marketing and sales leadership to deliver best in class training program content that includes industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements while providing an “end-to-end” approach during the creation of assigned learning experiences based on progressive learning and development frameworks.
What you'll be doing:

• Other incidental duties: Create budget reports for project spend.
• Partner with SMEs to effectively deliver training programs to employees to improve their skills enabling greater achievement of business objectives including therapy development strategies to assist in defining areas of opportunity along the Heart Team referral pathway to maximize their patient access.
• Develop and lead the execution of core BU related sales training programs including delivery mechanisms resulting in an effective and engaging program with the adult learner in mind
• Create and contribute to training efforts for development programs (e.g., Field Training Team, Leadership Development Program)
• Collaborate with management team to ensure training objectives are met with consistency and in compliance with the sales training strategy
• Measure effectiveness of programs through post-meeting survey instruments, field feedback and KOL review, develop plan to address concerns, and lead the implementation of solutions
• Conduct initial assessment to determine knowledge gap. Lead the design of content for core curriculum in collaboration with marketing, operations and other cross-functional teams

What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree required
10+ years combined field sales/field clinical and training experience in medical device. Structural heart strongly preferred
Knowledge of sales methodologies as well as understanding of related aspects of sales training processes and/or systems
Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement training and field adoption strategies, convert these into tactical roll-out plans and deliver results with a specific emphasis on market strategy and new product launches.
Proven experience with adult learning principles
Experience with Content Authoring tools as well as working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Strong use of virtual meeting and Rep engagement platforms such as Teams, etc to deliver virtual coaching
Analytical skills, general eye for business, exceptional communication, group interaction and facilitation skill
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with strict attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks independently, ability to handle multiple, complex tasks, ability to manage change and ability to maintain composure under pressure
Proven business acumen and working knowledge of a dynamic medical device market environment

The base pay range for this position is $123,000 to $174,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., geographic location, qualifications, education, prior experience).
