Engineering Manager Jobs

Looking to join a dedicated team of professionals developing communications solutions for the US Navy and Coast Guard? As part of our C5ISR Solutions team, you will design, integrate, and install systems that support enhanced military capabilities, protect national security, and keep critical information and infrastructure secure. We are looking for an experienced Electrical or Systems Engineer to add their skills to our team supporting the development of shipboard communications systems, including terrestrial and satellite radio systems, cybersecurity, networks and computing systems, and telecommunications. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies to develop real-world solutions.

In this job, you will:

• Responsible for providing planning, direction, and coordination of all engineering efforts
• Lead projects of increasing complexity and leverage the diversity of a global defense company to advance your career goals.
• Develop solutions utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach with the latest Systems Modeling Language (SysML) tools.
• Acquire and mature your knowledge of a broad range of communications technologies and apply your expertise to solve emerging challenges.
• Provide technical leadership for day-to-day engineering operations
• Research, select, and integrate communications hardware and software to meet customer requirements.
• Integrate, install, and test communications systems in laboratory and shipboard environments.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 10+ years of related experience
Proven experience leading teams to develop new and existing solutions/processes
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
Ability to work well in a team environment or independently

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), MATLAB, DOORS, CAD or other engineering, mathematical, and modeling toolsets
Experience with RF systems, antennas, computing systems, or telecommunications
Experience with US Navy or Coast Guard communications systems/equipment
Experience developing systems/equipment to military standards

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $122870 - $208890

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
