We’re looking for an amazing Manager, Sales Events & Training to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for managing key Holland America Line trade events and will attend tradeshows, conferences and events as need. They will develop an ongoing calendar of sales team training events, webinars, programs and manage e-Learning technology platform (s). This individual will build our trade training strategy and content for trade education programs.

Responsibilities
- Manage key Holland America Line tradeshows, conferences and sales events as needed. Schedule participants for trade shows and conferences and coordinate the shipping of necessary assets
- Occasionally coordinate with the Carnival Corporation, all brands event planning team
- Build trade training strategy and content for trade education programs Own our internal presentation management platform
- Coordinate monthly trade-facing webinars in alignment with corporate product launches, strategies and objectives
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, nimble work environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential
- Regularly work with stakeholders on the Holland America Line marketing team to develop presentations and training content
- Co-own our annual Global Sales Meeting in collaboration with Event Coordinator, Director of Trade Engagement & Communication and other key stakeholders. Develop an ongoing calendar of sales team training events, webinars, programs and e-Learning technology platform(s)
- Attend tradeshows, conferences and sales events as needed
- Develop, manage and maintain key industry relationships with relevant individuals and organizations. Additional duties as assigned by Director
Requirements
- 2 years event management experience
- Strong knowledge of cruise industry
- Cruise industry or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong organizational, management and communication skills
- Flexible, professional, creative with the ability to work independently
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, remote environment
- Degree in Marketing, Event planning, Hospitality
Please note that this position can be 100% fully remote, US only (Please note we are not set up for remote work in AR, DE, HI, ME, MS, NE, NH, OK, SD, VT, WV and WY.

- Base Salary Range: $83,200.00 to $112,300.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
