As group manager, Food - US Licensed Stores you will….


Drive our multi-year strategies for the Food category within Licensed Stores by identifying platforms, products, and programs that delight customers and inspire our licensee partners. In this role you will engage with multiple internal & external stakeholders developing unique go-to-market strategies tailored to the numerous business environments in which we operate. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, passionate and customer-obsessed leader to contribute to Starbucks success and deliver value for our world-class Licensee partners who operate in a diverse set of environments and venues & represent +40% of the total US store portfolio.


Leveraging Your Previous Experience, We Will Enable You To


  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners, providing thought leadership to assess opportunities while building, optimizing, and managing relevant product management processes.
  • Use product management expertise, financial and business acumen to fuel the growth of the Licensed Stores business from near-in to long-term, ensuring products within the food category are meeting or exceeding expected results.
  • Lead annual and quarterly product planning cycles with our Licensees and business development leaders to identify, develop, launch, and optimize Licensee portfolios.
  • Leverage insights to develop and implement customer and Licensee solutions that deliver value and exceed business objectives.
  • Coach, develop and lead a team of high caliber partners, setting goals for the broad team, developing organizational capabilities and modeling how we work together.
  • Own and lead the product management lifecycle from strategy to execution leveraging enterprise initiatives, while tailoring and developing the pipeline of product innovation to meet the relevant customer need states and occasions within a wide array of Licensee operating environments.


Summary Of Experience


We’d love to hear from people with:


  • Progressive experience in product or brand management. 6-10 years
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment. 5-10 years


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of US military experience
  • 4 or more years of experience in a role leading the development of new or existing products or strategies from conception to implementation
  • 3 or more years of experience in a role managing 2 or more budgets
  • 4 or more years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management
