Job Description

Incumbent serves as Manager, Communications & Brand Strategy for Organizational Excellence ---a division of Business & Financial Services (BFS). This position will oversee the development and growth of the department website, marketing efforts and responsible for managing and executing comprehensive communication strategies through all digital platforms. Ensures that the organization’s digital experiences align with and support the organization’s mission, vision, values, brand, reputation, and strategic goals. This includes digital content such as landing pages, e-learning collateral, graphics, images, video editing and social media channels. Implements a robust data analytic strategy that will guide and direct all future communications decisions and initiatives.


This position works with subject matter experts, including those involved in integrated communications, training, HR, finance and change management to effectively disseminate information with a unified inclusive voice in a timely fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Demonstrated experience assessing digital media performance.
  • Thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way. Thorough expertise and proficiency in digital media content creation and administration.
  • Demonstrated project coordination experience, ability to set timeframes and meet deadlines, including flexibility to manage simultaneous projects with varying priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create, develop, and implement comprehensive long- and short-term strategic communications plans.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data & performance analytics, report trends, recognize potential impact, identify alternative solutions and execute
  • Knowledge of effective storytelling principles and ability to write succinct, evocative and engaging digital communications
  • Thorough knowledge of content management systems and / or relevant web applications used for web production and organization-specific computer application programs.
  • Keen knowledge of digital / social media trends and best practices. Proven ability developing content and executing transformative social media strategy.
  • Expert ability to deliver well thought-out presentations that are persuasive, informative, and effectual to all audiences
  • Demonstrated experience with web project management, developing web forms (e.g., Machforms), and SharePoint content management.
  • In-depth experience (Typically, three years) managing large and complex websites, or an equivalent combination of education; Experience working with CRM and CMS tools, including HTML, CSS, Java Script or emerging technologies.
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Adobe (Cloud, Acrobat, Photoshop), Illustrator, Canva, PikToChart, GoAnimate, InDesign, Premiere, Fireworks, MS Office software suite. Experience in photo, graphic, and video production and publishing.
  • Thorough skills to create clear, easy-to-navigate, informative, accurate, well-designed, and functional web sites that provide web content consistent with the organization's message and in keeping with management directives and client objectives.
  • Thorough technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, animation, web interaction, and / or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Writing, Communications, Multi-Media Design, Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
