The annual base salary for this position ranges from $61,700.00 in our lowest geographic market to $138,600.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Global Brand Imaging provides key in-house creative production and support for Nike and Converse. We partner with Global, Geos, Nike Direct Digital Commerce, Marketing, Brand Creative, and Marketplace Partners to produce a wide variety of creative projects for both marketing campaign and digital commerce needs. At ICON.LA, our state-of the-art flagship studio in Los Angeles, GBI offers full-service creative capabilities to deliver end-to-end production for our partners' photography and video content needs.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


We are looking for a Digital Asset Coordinator to join our studio in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high volume, deadline driven environment, with strong written & verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with a team of post-production artists, producers, creative stakeholders, project managers and external partners. This candidate should have strong technical and organizational skills with experienced knowledge of the Adobe suite of products, specifically Photoshop, Bridge, Premiere, After Effects and Camera Raw. Sophisticated knowledge of Capture One, InDesign and Illustrator, a plus.


WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?


If this is you, you will be responsible for critical quality assurance reviews, product accuracy checkpoints, and asset approvals for the Nike, Converse and Jordan product imaging catalog prior to file release. You will maintain the highest level of quality control for all asset deliverables including consistency, accuracy, and completeness against brand standards and style guides. Additionally, you will support the organization, collection, import, tagging, distribution, asset trafficking and archival of all relevant still & video assets for assigned brand marketing creative productions. These assets are necessary to fulfill various lines of business within the greater Nike digital ecosystem and your role will facilitate the collection of digital assets from internal and external sources to ensure files are organized and published properly to all downstream channels. You will be asked to escalate related issues, identify solutions to achieve business objectives, maintain post-production file tracking, become a subject-matter expert in Nike delivery systems/platforms, and ensure all deliverables meet our expert quality standards and launch timelines.


WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?


Under the mentorship of the Digital Asset Manager, you will serve as a primary liaison within the GBI Post-Production Asset Management team and work closely with other studio members to provide support for various processes. This includes but not limited to publishing workflows, applying metadata tags, manage folder structure in accordance with best practices, enforce file format standards, manage final file naming conventions, assign usage terms and embargo dates. Advanced knowledge of file formats, video codecs, audio formats aspect ratios, and file processing is preferred but not mandatory. Critical attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects and communication between many different users and roles is a priority.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING?


  • Must be proficient with Mac OS
  • Knowledge of advanced media concepts such as: aspect ratios, compression techniques, scripting etc
  • Familiar with various video and image formats including: TIF, PNG, JPEG, CR2, MOV, MP4, etc
  • Must be exceptionally detail-oriented and well organized
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Creative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and re-prioritize if project scope changes
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • 3+ years in a studio / creative production environment
  • Experience working with digital media, including processing stills assets., transcoding video, manipulating media in programs like Photoshop and Bridge
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, hardworking with a positive attitude
  • Professional writing tone when interacting with teams and coworkers
  • Strong and polished control skills - keen eye and aesthetic
  • Proactive and able to show initiative to foresee / resolve issues in real-time
