You will support our Afterpay SMB and Business Development responsibilities, which guide our sellers’ journeys onto Afterpay.

You Will:

• Lead high visibility projects requiring cross functional support and analytical support
• Oversee Business Review processes, facilitating relevant conversations with Square leadership teams
• Manage a team, providing the necessary coaching and structure to ensure it continues to operate at a high level
• Be the primary partner to Head of Afterpay Global SMB and Business Development, providing strategic insight and advice to inform all important decisions
• Report directly into the Head of Finance & Strategy for Afterpay's Go-To-Market Function

Qualifications

You Have:

• Experience maintaining a high-performing team through hiring and coaching
• Advanced proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• 8+ years experience in investment banking or strategic finance
• Commitment to Block’s purpose of Economic Empowerment

Even better:

• Experience with software, internet, or financial technology industry
• Experience with SQL or comfort working with large datasets

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $184,100 - USD $225,000

Zone B: USD $171,200 - USD $209,200

Zone C: USD $162,000 - USD $198,000

Zone D: USD $152,700 - USD $186,700
