What You’ll Do:
The Junior Optimizely (Episerver) Commerce Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites while contributing to the evolution of the software architecture using the Optimizely B2C Commerce Cloud.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborate with other team members to inform overall architectural decisions around Optimizely Commerce Cloud.
  • Own documentation of detailed system solutions, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and relevant business process mapping.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Ensure the development of web applications to the highest quality and performance standards.
  • Act as SME for all integrations relevant to Optimizely Commerce Cloud environment.
  • Coordinate and manage support and bug escalations to external vendors and support teams.
  • Assist with application ownership over the Optimizely Commerce Cloud platform, including administration, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and development.
  • Work closely with remote development teams to ensure that the software meets business and technical requirements and is scalable, maintainable, and secure.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
  • Develop code in a manner to be scalable, efficient, and performant.
  • Support and assist with system upgrades, including technical and functional testing.
  • Work to build relationships with internal IT and business teams and external vendors to drive value-add solutions.
  • Responsible for thoroughly understanding stakeholder requirements and managing all requirements accordingly to add value for each stakeholder.

What You Have:
  • The ability to work well in a remote team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development methodologies and comfortable working with large, complex systems.
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • The ability to understand and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Capable of understanding and analyzing business and technical requirements.
  • A track record of successfully delivering high-quality web applications.
  • Adept at working with large, complex systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Your Education and Experience:
  • 5+ years of development experience on Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET MVC/Web API).
  • A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of development experience on the Optimizely (EPiServer) B2C Commerce platform.


Century Communities intends to offer the selected candidate a base salary within the range of 110K to 125K, plus an annual bonus. Offer will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience and education.
