Position:Vice President for E-commerce

Reports TO:CEO

FLSA Status: Full Time/Exempt

Our company is a fast-growing organization in the sustainable fashion industry. We utilize synthetic biology to develop sustainable materials such as protein-based fibers, and our goal is to provide high-performance materials to various industries, including textiles and advanced composites.

Mission:Toeliminate plastic pollution and minimize the dependence on animal-based products with a unique all-natural performance material


Job Summary

We are looking for a Vice President of E-Commerce to join our team and help us lead our company into the future. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that drive growth. They will also deeply understand the fashion industry and the latest e-commerce trends. This newly created role reports to the CEO and works closely with the entire executive team. Additionally, VPshall overseee-commerce across all sectors in State College, PA, Boston, MA, and future expansion sites.

Key Responsibilities

·Develop and execute strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales

·Manage the e-commerce budget and ensure that it is used effectively

·Work with the team to ensure that all efforts are aligned with the company's overall goals

·Stay up-to-date on the latest e-commerce trends and technologies

·Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (retailers, distributors & partners)

Requirements

·10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on fashion

·Proven track record of success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies

·Deep understanding of the fashion industry and the latest e-commerce trends

·Excellent communication and presentation skills

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data to drive business decisions.
