We are looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us in our mission to transform and optimize our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

As a Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer at White Meridian, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure while ensuring seamless integration with our DevOps processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.

Implement best practices for cloud resource provisioning, networking, and security.

**DevOps Integration:**

Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline the software delivery pipeline.

Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD. Containerization and Orchestration:

Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.

Orchestrate container deployments using Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.

Configuration Management:

Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Maintain and version control infrastructure configurations.

Monitoring and Optimization:

Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud resources.

Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security

Security and Compliance:

Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and security controls.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Document infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Mentor and train team members on cloud and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in configuration management tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect and DevOps Engineer.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and log aggregation tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
