Akkodis is seeking a IT Support Technicianfor a 24 months Contract position with a client located in San Antonio, Texas

Pay Range: $23/hr- $25.15/hr. on W2.

TJob Details:

The necessary skills for this environment are how to use the COSMIC utility to reimage PCs and transfer end user data. Another one is the WFDC Help Center utility to remotely connect to end users machine(s) and work on them or candidate who has a background with this three Microsoft software will be successful in this role:

Active Directory

SCCM - System Center Configuration Manager

Software Center

Phone etiquette is a must, you must be able to converse with the user and explain how to do certain tasks or procedures, install software from a website, how to plug and unplug certain cables and convey what they see.

This is a call center environment so you will also need to be able to talk with the users on a one-on-one basis when at their desk. You definitely have to be a people person to be able to work in this environment. Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system is a plus.

Microsoft skills

Network, Hardware, Internal system settings, overall professional attitude.

• Having Good time management, and good customer service skills really benefit me in this role. I manage the tickets I have in my queue, whether that means assisting a user remotely or meeting in the office to help solve the problem. I also try to do what I can to help my supervisor with any other task not related to my ticket queue such as providing extra support to certain areas for the first few days upon users returning to the office for the first time.
