Description
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for the technical support of the CEO of the company. This includes onsite support for multiple DFW locations (Dallas, Frisco, and Forney), daily monitoring of offsite IT systems and collaboration with the Chief of Staff or upcoming projects. IT Support includes software installation, configuration, and upgrades and performing general troubleshooting of workstations (PC and Mac), servers and printers to provide an elevated level of service to the CEO.
Job Functions:
Desktop/Laptop Computer Management:
- Manage inventory, tracking and disposal of technology equipment.
- Maintain deployed computers through troubleshooting, repair and/or replacement.
- Maintain standard Windows 10 and Mac configurations for end-user computers.
Desktop Software Management:
- Provide user and administrative support for business applications as assigned.
- Provide daily user support for installed desktop applications.
- Evaluate software applications to meet CEO needs.
- Install and configure general purpose end-user desktop and Mac software.
Documentation:
- Develop and maintain user training materials.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
Network Management and Support:
- Monitor, troubleshoot and repair Meraki network hardware and software.
- Collaborates with System Administrator for solutioning large projects for these offsite locations.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical customers.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Meraki hardware and network experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, or related software.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of network, user and help desk experience preferred.
- Travel required to HITRUST sites with employee reimbursement.
- Associate degree or technology certification preferred.
