It Support Administrator Ii

The primary function of the IT Support is to support the USA Business Unit by providing hardware and software support to all staff on company-supported applications and being on a team that provides First and Second level support.

• Monitor daily operations, including server, hardware, software and enterprise systems
• Perform install and preparation of end-user hardware (PCs and Mobile Devices)
• Assist with Mobile Device Support
• Administration of user accounts, owner of new user account setup and leavers
• Maintain quality process controls by following organization standards and policies.
• Ensure all user hardware is cataloged correctly in the ITSM platform.
• Laptop and desktop hardware break/fix, and basic Desktop/PC software troubleshooting are preferred. 
• Participate in Projects
• You will perform activities associated with installing, diagnosing, maintaining, and servicing computer-related products, including but not limited to network devices, standard software, and low-end servers at remote sites.
• Equipment Disposal / Decommission
• Serve as a liaison between local staff and the Applus IT Department to resolve issues; communicate problems, implement preventative measures; train and assist users in maximizing company applications.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate counts of IT Equipment stock and ensure minimum quantities are available.
• Facilitate the ordering, receipt, and shipping of computer and mobile devices-related hardware orders.

• Ask questions to determine nature of problem, be able to communicate with end users.
• Respond to user inquires via IT Ticketing System and phone on and all company-supported applications.
• Backup data of Leavers to designated area

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• High school diploma
• Experience with the disassembly of desktop and laptop computers.
• Associate’s Degree preferred will consider 4 years of direct experience in lieu of degree
• Experience installing Windows 10 using an automated or semi-automated install process.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or similar knowledge.
• Experience working with an Active Directory environment.
