About this Position:
The Team Manager of the IT Budget Services group has overall responsibility for managing and reporting the IT budget (and actual results), month, quarter and year-end close, coordination of the annual and forecast budget events, maintaining standards and processes for all financial activities, supporting ad-hoc reporting / analysis and enterprise wide IT intangible assets - for the AHM IT Planning and Operations Business Unit, which provides IT Services for 26 major office locations and 13 NA campuses (AHM, AHFC, AEP, ELP, MAP, PMC, TMP-O, TMP-G, AAP, IAP, SCM, HPE, HCM, HDM, HRA, and EGA).
  • This role has responsibility for financial oversight and reporting across 38 individual Cost Centers and 5 IT Divisions, for the AHM IT Expense budget of ~$460M and Project Investment budget of $60M+
In addition, this role also has responsibility for operational and strategic management of IT Leases valued at $10M+, assisting with the oversight / reporting on the total AHM IT budget, and managing the overall process for creating and executing NA IT Regional chargebacks.
  • This role has the responsibility to maintain and enforce the NA IT Leasing strategy partnering with Asset Management and AHM Accounting & Finance for accurate tracking and compliance (lease budget >$10M)
This role has responsibility for developing, communicating and executing the NA Regional chargeback for IT services and associated ad-hoc reporting / analysis.
Responsibilities include:
  • Oversight of IT Operating Budget
o Manage team of Budget Analyst resources to support IT Division and Departments execution of Fiscal year Plan.
Analyze trends and major variances to forecast future Cost Performance and to improve accuracy for budget re-forecasting.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end expense and investment reporting to IT Executives and IT Divisions to promote accurate cost management and accountability.
Evaluate, maintain, and ensure compliance with accounting guidelines for month/year-end close and IT intangible assets and Prepaids.
  • Team Leadership
o Develop associate training/education and development plans.
o Develop clear roles and responsibilities.
o Mid-year / annual performance assessment
  • Monitor day-to-day operations of IT Finance for critical functions such as PO creation, invoicing, payment and KPI’s
  • Assist in preparation of plan development and operation of the annual and rolling project plans for the IT Business Unit


Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
  • 3-5 years working with IT related leasing (equipment, etc.)
  • 8+ years working in accounting or similar field.
  • 3-5 years managing budgets for large enterprise organization.
  • 1-3 years working in or closely with Information Technology (preferred)
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory role (preferred)
Required Education:
  • BA/BS in Accounting and Finance and/or equivalent work experience

  • Workstyle: Hybrid – 2 days a week in office
  • Travel: 10%
