Interim Controller Jobs

We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Controller at a consumer goods co. located in Midtown, NYC, 10104. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting for a month and close in financial statements at a controller level.

This role is a 4+ month consulting role that will pay up to $120.00 per hour (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week. 2-3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, financial reporting
• Manage and maintain accounting process for a business service group
• Convert IFRS to GAAP for USA financial statements
• Manager a staff three direct reports through close and financials
• Oversee the revenue recognition for 605 and 606

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of revenue recognition 605 and 606 as well as GAAP and IFRS
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred
• Proven track record of success in managing a larger staff
• Proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs
