Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes all hires, transfers, changes and terminations accurately into HRIS in a timely manner.
- Assist with benefits administration including open enrollment, entering benefit elections and providing information to help employees make election decisions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Support other HR initiatives and projects as needed.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports. identifying and reconciling discrepancies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Assist with leave of absence tracking including FMLA administration and disability case management.
- Provides backup support to Payroll Specialist as needed.
- Acts as a point of contact for associate questions (benefits, 401k, personal changes, etc.).
- Assist with creating offer letters, new hire packets and background checks.
- Supports recruiting process by scheduling phone interviews and screening candidates as needed during peak season.
- Create and maintains all associate files, personnel and benefits.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Specifically Word and Excel. Experience in COINS ERP+ a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources
- Ability to understand clients, managers expectations and partner with HR leads to address questions.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong writtenand verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Outstanding organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and work ethic.
- Proactive and self-directed and results-oriented.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or business related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with the utmost professionalism.
