Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing, testing, and implementing Human Resources Management Information Systems and related processes for our organization. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our human resources operations, ensuring we can continue to deliver excellence in public health services.
What You'll Do
Take charge of managing a vital portion of a Human Resources IT system project, tackling challenges with agency-wide significance.
Apply your expertise in Human Resources IT concepts, methods, and practices to deliver top-notch HR IT services.
Develop strategic plans to enhance and improve our HR systems, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications For GS-11
At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level, which includes performing system administration support for human resources information systems (e.g., learning, talent acquisition, and management systems troubleshooting/access management), and utilizing human resources information systems for developing, testing, and implementing new features and/or platforms.
OR
Possession of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
A combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
Minimum Qualifications For GS-12
At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level, which includes evaluating operational HR system performance (e.g. administration, documentation, reporting), and identifying and resolving issues related to HR information and technology systems and tools.
