Opportunity
We are looking to employ an HR Team Member that will act as an employee champion and help create and support a solid foundation for future growth. You will coordinate, support, organize, and be involved in the day-to-day human resource function and performance for a team of 4.
This role works to support all employees, HR systems and policies to support business growth, while embodying and modeling core values.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist with the hiring process including orientation; working in coordination with managers, supervisors and external recruiting partners to promote, advertise, screen, interview, hire and onboard suitable talent.
- Participate in supporting and enhancing organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
- Employee relations; working with Leadership Team to bring company core values and culture to life, ensuring connectedness between leadership and staff remains a priority even during high-growth phases.
- Assist with employee events and recognition.
- Manage the organization’s employee database and prepare reports.
- Work in coordination with the HRIS system to ensure compliance and legal obligations are up-to-date with current laws while ensuring the interests of the Company are protected, including: Employee Handbook maintenance, Employee record-keeping, and Workplace health & safety regulations
Key Requirements
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1+ years of relevant HR experience
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
- Bachelors degree in human resources preferred
- Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
