Role Description/About the Job:
We are seeking a highly experienced HR Director to join our small tech startup and take charge of all aspects of human resources. As the sole HR member in our company, you will play a critical role in managing recruitment, hiring, onboarding new employees, offboarding, planning meetings and events, ensuring HR health, salary management, and other HR responsibilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our growing organization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.
- Plan and organize meetings, events, and team-building activities to foster employee engagement and collaboration.
- Manage employee benefits, payroll, and compensation to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent to our company.
- Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes to support the company's growth and employee satisfaction.
- Experience working in a small company or startup environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven track record of effectively managing all aspects of HR in a small organization.
- 10+ years of HR experience, including hands-on experience in recruitment and hiring processes.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools for applicant tracking, payroll, and benefits administration.
