Job Description

Amotec has been retained on a search for a Human Resources Director located in the Quad Cities, Iowa area. Our client, a multi-billion-dollar international manufacturing company, is currently looking for an experienced human resource professional to join their team. The Human Resources Director will be a strategic and valued business partner to the Business Unit President with responsibility for 4 manufacturing sites and over 1300 employees. This role will be responsible for managing HR strategies and organizational development such as contract negotiations/union avoidance, right-sizing, due diligence, organizational development, and integrations. Our client offers a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, and paid time off.



Human Resources Director Responsibilities:

· Leading the development and implementation of the HR strategy

· Providing on-going advice and support to the President and Business Partners on all aspects of HR

· Coaching/mentoring managers/plant leadership on effective leadership, communication, and employee engagement

· Leading the talent management process

· Championing company compensation and benefits strategies

· Developing and managing employee and labor relations strategies



Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree required—Master’s preferred

· 10+ years of experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization

· Familiar with local compliance laws and practices

· Experience with employee and labor relations

· Manufacturing experience
