Our companies, Fetch for Pets and Brand Buzz, are looking to bring on a Human Resources Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and guide upper management on business strategy as we continue to grow at a rapid pace. This person will be responsible for cultivating company culture, developing our employees and managers, and ensuring that all office operations are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively communicate and follow up when necessary and the drive to be the best advocate possible for our employees.
What you will do:
- Facilitate onboarding and training of new employees
- Stay vigilant of compliance updates on the local, state and federal level
- Oversee office operations manager
- Lead all recruitment efforts and find the best talent to join our team
- Provide guidance to upper management on strategic business decisions
- Prepare and assist with payroll processing
- Establish best practice initiatives in areas such as communications, recruiting new talent, performance management, training, people engagement, and career development
- Oversee and maintain all benefits administration (healthcare, 401k, PTO, commuter benefits etc)
- Define and work with department managers on employee training and career development
- Effectively communicate new policies, information, and directives to all employees
Requirements:
- Experience in the CPG industry is preferred but not necessary
- Ability to critically think and anticipate issues before they arise
- Ability to multitask and prioritize several projects at once
- Excellent judgment skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently
- 7+ Years experience in the Human Resources field
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where business is always evolving
- Strong understanding of US employment law
