We are seeking a forward-thinking, organized, and dynamic Office Manager to oversee our office in New York. We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset who will build relationships with leaders and key stakeholders to deliver on our workplace experience.


In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our new New York office, and curate the programs, services, projects, and events that support & amplify Gauntlet’s culture. You’ll be a composed and decisive self-starter who uses Gauntlet’s values to drive decision-making. You will multi-task projects, promote cross-functional team synergy and be an advocate for the needs of the employees, space, facilities, and programs here at Gauntlet. Note: this position will be in office in New York City 5 days a week.


Responsibilities


  • Develop office policies and coordinate with building management on needed access
  • Partner with Operations & People team on items related to NY Office
  • Organize and champion our employee experience offerings
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen, office supplies and miscellaneous office items
  • Champion our company culture and plan company events as necessary
  • Assist with travel & event arrangements for both individuals and groups, anticipating needs.
  • Receive and sort incoming mail/deliveries, including any sensitive items.
  • Greet visitors, new hires and candidates as well as acting as their point of contact for the duration of their stayOversee vendor relationships
  • Maintain responsibility and oversight of day-to-day office operationsOwn executive calendars and scheduling
Qualifications


  • A self starter; you love owning projects end to end
  • Exceptional problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent and effective communication and organization skills to help promote a positive work experience for employees, candidates, visitors and vendors alike
  • Humble, hardworking and someone who interfaces well with all level of employees with integrity
  • Detail orientation with a bias for action
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Bonus Points


  • Experience working in the crypto industry is a plus but not required. Enthusiasm for the space, especially DeFi, is very much desired
  • Strong knowledge of systems and collaboration tools like Slack, Notion, GSuite, Atlassian

The national pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 plus additional On Target Earnings potential by level and equity in the company. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for a company of our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
