Job Description

The HR Manager will play a critical role as an internal resource to managers, employees, and the organization for planning, directing, and coordinating the company's HR strategies and initiatives in alignment with the company's goals.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with ProService to oversee and administer benefits (including healthcare coverage, 401(k), AFLAC, life insurance), and leave administration including worker's compensation, TDI, and FMLA.
  • Acts as a resource to managers, employees and the organization as a whole in providing guidance on all applicable HR functions
  • Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, talent management and employee exits
  • Maintain a close connection to and awareness of staff engagement and morale levels to ensure employees are able to perform at their best
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state payroll and employment law
  • Identify training needs for business units and collaborate with the appropriate teams on finding solutions, implementing, and measuring success
  • Work with executive leadership to improve the organization's HR operations, compliance and HR systems
  • Partners with and provides guidance to supervisors and managers regarding performance management, performance improvement plans, progressive discipline and other employment practices
  • Act as a positive change agent supporting both managers and employees as the company experiences growth and transformation
  • Operates with a high level of integrity and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner and in alignment with our core values

Desired Skills And Qualifications

  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Collaborative working style and team player attitude with the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Minimum 5 (five) years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources
