Job Description

TheHuman Resources Coordinatorassists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. The HR Coordinator supports the Sr. Human Resources Manager and other department management with HR related matters.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to handle confidential matters and act discreetly with solid judgment
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager
  • Report generation and auditing/tracking maintenance
  • Demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, good judgment and collaboration.
  • Assist with exit interviews
  • Assist with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Maintain and tracks HR data and metrics
  • Maintain confidential HR files
  • Receive and screen communication to the HR Department including telephone calls, faxes, and e-mail messages
  • Maintain associate confidence and protect operations by keeping Human Resource information confidential
  • Facilitate benefits open enrollment and associate engagement surveys
  • Maintain calendar, schedule appointments, meetings and conferences
  • Although 2nd Shift, hours may be adjusted.
  • Work closely with associates, managers and senior leaders of the organization.
  • Assist with Leave of Absence related matters
  • Understand the company’s policies and procedures
  • Conduct general clerical duties, supporting the human resource department activities as needed
  • Welcome new associates to the organization by assisting with new hire orientation and new hire paperwork
  • Complete various filing and data entry tasks
  • Prepare and process weekly payroll for Company/Agency associates
  • Assist with investigations and addressing associate relations matters
  • Assist with processing of employment status changes
  • Excellent professional communication; written and oral
  • Perform duties using HRIS database systems
  • Provide assistance using independent judgment to determine which require priority attention; and facilitate communication
  • Provide general Human Resources support by serving as one of the first points of contact for associates, managing or escalating issues as necessary
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving abilities


Requirements

Job Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • Must maintain strict confidentiality
  • Microsoft Office knowledge a plus – MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Experience with UltiPro, Matrix and KRONOS strongly preferred
  • Must have superior communication skills with a team player attitude
  • Minimum of 6 months recent experience in an HR department, preferably a fast paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education a plus
  • Must demonstrate exceptional multitasking and organization
